| Credit to York, they put in a massive performance today.
But I have to say that I feel we, as a team, didn't give York the respect they deserved. We didn't do the things we know that need doing to set us up for success, tried to shortcut the process. We got drawn in to the niggle early on and didn't keep our discipline.
All said and done, we're in the semi's but bans could cost us dear. I hope Kai's good record means his ban won't be super long, but it was a terrible tackle but very out of character. Zak might get 1 or 2. Think we can deal without Zak for a game or two, bring Leutele back in and play Umyla who went well today. Going to miss Kai though, as we're already short in the 2nd row.

| Not a good day. Kai will be a big miss. We won however.

| Awful performance, yes we won but it’s was a very painful watch. No excuses apart from cockiness and arrogance.
Full credit to York but my word did we under perform
Kai will get a lengthy ban , Zak and Asiata my also also have a week or 2 in the stands

| At least Kai and maybe Asiata will get the rests we've been hoping for
Pessimism says that is our season now. We're safe but probably not in any contention to be in the play-offs either.
Its a tough run of fixtures now. To get a result at Cats, regardless of our form would have taken a might effort.
Hull KR are pretty handy, with only home advantage getting us through much like vs Hull.
Cas away would look to be the easiest but you never can tell, the Salford and Wigan away.
I just wish we never had to play on TV, off the top of my head we've only ever had about 3 cracking performances, the rest have always caught us at our dopiest.
Still, more than I could have hoped for coming into this game.
Credit to York, though we maintain a flawless record against white rose teams this season

| Lot of pessimism here. It was one of those games you should walk but the team had 6 or 7 changes to it and complacency crept in as well. Normal service was resumed at half time winning last 30 mins 28 to nil. I think it will be Leigh v Wiggin final just like FA Cup was City v United. Like I've said, it's written in the stars and nothing can stop Leigh lifting the Cup

| I don’t think complacency crept in but stupidity dashed in. A simple game plan would have given a comfortable win but an arrogant, reckless ‘lets put these upstarts in their place” attitude will be punished with deserved bans.

| I'm also thinking that if the ban length isn't double figures then I'd be surprised.
He's got a good disciplinary record but the tackle was very, very dangerous.

| What a terrible performance, and the resulting disciplinary panel is going to scupper the great season. Some times the players get too pumped up ie. Ben Flowers for Wigan. The skill and fitness level should have resulted with Leigh coasting in the second half, instead we have exerted more effort than needed and will probably suffer the consequences against Catalans.
Kai has really let himself and the team down.

| Catalan away next week is now a free hit , what would have been a tough ask will be even tougher with Kai and Zak out.
Hanley impressed yesterday so options there , not sure when Wardle or Hughes return.
Comment above hit nail on head , far too pumped up and playing like mad men in defence.
Will hopefully learn from this and for the first time in a long time we witnessed not finding touch from a penalty ! Thought those days had gone

| Looked bad think you hit the nail on the head a bit too pumped up. Think the tackle just went wrong. Can't remember any disciplinary issues with him previously so hopefully they take that into consideration. With the other 3 suspensions added could be a tough few weeks. Chance for the bench players to step up and get their chance.

| Not an ideal scenario for the next week or two but trying to be optimistic, Smith got some minutes in so he can back Edwin up , Hanley may have earned a shot at centre and we,ll have Ricky back, the spine is still intact which is massive for how we play , second row is an issue but Matty Davies has done good minutes lately and he,ll do fine add to that long term injuries to 1st choice second rowers at the start of the season are due back so we might not be as bad as it looked yesterday.catalan may be too much for us this week but hull kr after that could be the game that defines our season .
