Sorry, in my annoyance did not make myself clear yes Hood was off side. I was referring to kr try when kr man was within 10 yards of our man fielding kick so penalty to us,probably not a knock as thought on the ground, but close, deffo no try.

Usually you hear the shout from the ref telling the players offside to stay back. For me the video ref is concentrating on the knock on, and forgets the rules of the game with Crooks onside.

Thanks Reffy, so the HKR try should have been disallowed for the same reason.

Crooks put them all onside, the ref sends it up to check the knock on. One he awards on field as a try after consultation with his touch judges, no call from the ref to any player to stay onside after Lawler kicks. Hoods was straight forward offside. The ref for me was correct in both decisions. You can’t be judging if someone is encroaching 10m when the fullback just played them all onside.

Crooks cannot put anyone who was in front of him onside who are within the 10, the only person who can put people back onside is the kicker of the ball which clearly he didn't. The try should of been disallowed by the rules of the game, although it's one rule I hate as even though within the 10 he has no outcome on the play at all.

On the game, you were gifted numerous helping hands by a very poor official which kept you camped in our 30m area most of the first half. We had the ball in your 20m 3 times scoring twice, as soon as we started to get some position you panicked and despite the decision of the jokiciary the head shots were straight reds imo.

You rode your luck, are in the T6 and I look forward to a much more even match up in 2022 when you will be fighting to make the 10 like ourselves.

Assuming you are not relegated where are all these quality players you will need coming from? When at this point none of us know what format will be in place in 2022 how do you know you will be in a great financial position compared to your rivals? You don’t even know who will in SL next year. Looking at the possibilities, Toulouse look in great shape and well supported financially. I suspect you would struggle to beat them this year never mind next whichever division you are both in.

For information: I was sat right in line with the first half try by Minikin which resulted from Brad Takairangi being a couple of yards off side when the kick went up. The touch judge must have seen that but took no action forcing the ref to send it up as a try. Sadly, despite their multitude of cameras, Sky did not have one on Takairangi. Also, the next try resulted from a blatant forward pass a couple of plays earlier. I'm tempted to ask what is the point of the touch judges if they simply abrogate their responsibilities especially if they think there's a camera on it.
