Frankie, Hall would make one of the best stand offs going. He is as level headed as Woody was at Leigh and thats something coming from a leyther. He has speed and a RL brain,wing fb was never his position.

How can you possibly say Purtill has failed???. Agreed he lost his first two matches but what a state the team was in at that stage. After that only two more league defeats ( both to Toronto), victories over Fev, London (three times) and Toulouse, all away, the only Championship team to have beaten a super league team so far this season, the only one to reach the quarter-final of the Challenge Cup and the vast majority of these games played away.

That's a pretty good record in my opinion.

I look forward , hopefully, to KP being given a full season to show what he can do with a team of his own choosing. Then and only then should he be judged.

I too would be pleased if he gets the job next season - it makes a refreshing change to have a half back coaching us, rather than the usual front row forwards, who aren't always known for their subtlety! Also, I hope he gets the say in who we sign.
