SKY TV were going on about Paul Rowley's conduct. Not good. Neither was what he was 'saying' to Anderson, Purtil and to Mike Latham.

Also Paul Rowley followed Anderson if you watch the footage, who was retreating away from speaking with the referee but I accept both should have acted like grown adults.

Emmit was very lucky the referee was the wrong side and did not see his sly swinging arm into the face of the down and tackled Nathan Mason.

As previously explained, at the end of the game Rowls made his way to the officials to show respect like a any decent coach would of. At that point Anderson came over & obviously wasn't happy , he had few words to say.

Him & Rowls exchanged words, Rowls was walking towards his squad to congratulate them, Anderson decides to splash him with water as he was walking away (not the first time he's done this - splashing water at people, ask the coaching staff at Batley what he did when a player was injured on the ground).

They then came towards each other Anderson then uses his head & throws a punch. Rowls went over to Purtill to tell him about the conduct of his staff. However, Mike latham is just getting involved to indicate which side he's on.

Lets not forget Anderson as history, he's had touchline bans previously. Deggsy will not get rid as he's quite stubborn with his loyalty. Regardless of what Sky say I can guarantee Rowls will be cleared of any misconduct when the full incident is looked at.

I am sick and fed up of reading the drivel on this forum from Peter Kay and now we have more drivel from Valvehunter.

History lesson for Peter Kay re: his precious Paul. It was bad enough PR leaving the club in the manner that he did but how he was allowed to tap players as he did beggars belief. Shortly having joined Paw Patrol - PR is seen at the AJ Bell stadium with a number of players who guess what? find their way to Toronto. I will deal with just two of them Bob Beswick - immediately after being at this game with Rowley he develops an incurable ankle injury. He does not play for Leigh for months because of the injury, but he must have visited Lourdes on his way to Canada as he was cured as soon as he landed. Two Emmit, asks to be released from contract with Leigh to pursue his life long dream to live and play rugby in Oz. Yeah right 3 weeks later, he is back and on his way to paw patrol and of course this route means no salary cap implications for PP.
Dealing with Saturday, Anderson does not cover himself in glory, but watch the video VH, PR is clearly shouting at Anderson and he squirts water towards PR, it is PR who closes the gap and their heads come together like a couple of goats no headbutting.
Forget all that "handbags" stuff. What is totally unforgivable is PR abusing Mike Latham, a man held in the highest regard not only at Leigh but in the Rugby and Cricket world generally.
We now have a coach who knows how to behave and coaches the players to play rugby. Gone are the annoying antics of patting opposition players on the head if they make a mistake. Unfortunately paw patrol have carried them on - again Emmit goading both the players and the fans, and of course his very cheap shot on Mason while on the floor. Sam sloppy Hopkins ran 20 metres to pat Acton the head when he knocked on.
I suggest PK you crawl back under the rock from which you crawled - you are not a rugby fan.

As stated, they never spoke to each other, so I can't understand why Mike as sais what he's said to be honest.

Hmmmm, which story to believe??

Story 1 - thouroughly decent chap with reputation for honesty and discretion invents story and talks to press where his untrue story could land him with legal action

Story 2 - angry coach having already verbally abused two people, abuses a third and realising his mistake, makes up a story about shaking hands and never having spoken to anyone to cover his behind

You have lost what ever credibility you may have had VH - Mike Latham did more to assist PR through both playing and coaching and I would never question a word he has said. Whereas you are simply full of BS
