Congratulations to our new chairman. I have never met him but he seems passionate and knowledgeable about our club when I have seen him speak and well regarded in the Rugby community. He also seems like a really nice bloke

My point was in NO way questioning Mike Lathams attitude, skills , or ability ,all of which are 100% exemplary, I'm just saying as Chairman,what extra things he will bring to the Club,that he is not already bringing ?I'm disappointed because I was hoping a certain Palestinian horse racing enthusiast,might be tempted to join us
Mike Latham knowledge and the way he handles the Presentation evenings are perfect,probably can't be bettered,but I feel our Club would benefit greatly if we had another investor to help Derek.

who's saying there won't be one here next year once the dust has settled round Salford.Listening to Derek Salford have not been very grateful for the amount of money marwan put into them so maybe marwan just wants a bit of time out before getting involved again

I don’t know Mike Latham personally but he appears to be a great guy and speaks well so hopefully a good appointment, I wish him well.

I too as Charlie says would like to see another major investor, as although I have no axe to grind and I’m gratefully for what DB is doing, it is concerning that we appear to have all our eggs in one basket so to speak. And just like MK walking out at Salford where would it leave us if DB walked?

Up the creek without a padfle glow. Without a doubt. But as long as we, as fans of the club keep on backing Derek, then it will keep him happy. Marwan could disrupt things to be honest cos he's as strong headed as our Degsy. But time would tell with that one. Lenegan at Pie land is Their main backer, but not many pie eaters like him. At least Dereks got personality and the best interest of the club at heart. So well done Derek. Congratulations Mike Latham and onward and upwards

More fans turning up wouldn't go amiss. And before folk start going on about the Toronto game, they should realise that everything is not always going to go our way all of the time. More folk turning up would help the club,not just financially, but player performance as well. As far as the Chairman is concerned, well, I'm not bothered really,but Mike seems a decent appointment, so that's fine by be.

No I didn't, everyone else did by immediately jumping on what i had to say rather than just moving on and posting their own well wishes. Jack Diggle brought Allan Rowley into the conversation so I was just responding to that. Also, those 7 pages are full of you and everyone else slagging 'your' players and 'your' coach off. Still, never let facts get in the way of creating a big fuss eh?

The answer was so you support the team, I would suggest fans support the club because that is the only fixed element to support - custodians on and off the pitch move on, wanting the best at any given moment is what fans do but I feel from your hatred of one man you would like the club to fail as a way of him moving on. This club has never had the financial investment it currently has and in todays game cash will dictate where a small club finishes, as a fan the ride is great and I cant wait for the 8's and 2019 in SL thanks to Dereks financial input
