| Can't blame the ref for our shambolic performance simple as that we was not good enough to compete we have no plan b it's 5 drives and a kick and when other teams get on top we go back to bad dicipline same old story week in week out

Not by most of us (would you be on here if you'd have lost ? )
We were useless, Hunslet Hawks would have beaten us on today's performance.

Leigh are not SL standard, and it showed today. Who the F*** is teaching us to play like this?
Enough is enough.

| Do you know what, I genuinely don't mind getting beat, in fact I've seen us get hammered in the past and come away relatively happy.
All that I want to see is passion, spirit, determination and the will to keep fighting right up to the final whistle.
I saw none of that today which is really disappointing given what was on the line. I have no idea how we can be as composed as we were at Catalan, and today look like a bunch of blokes who had never played together. It's astonishing really.

Well we weren't saying that 2 weeks ago were we?
Everyone makes it sound like we're down and out, not ideal admittedly, and Mortimer likely out for the season does not help, but let's not give up just yet.
2 wins out of the last 3 could see us finish third, quite likely home in MPG- so let's not write us off yet.
It all depends which Leigh team turn up when it matters - keep the faith and all that

I wouldn't mind five drives and a kick, but how many times did we get past tackle 2 in that second half? Winning a hard earned penalty, gaining good ground from the kick, and then dropping the ball on tackle 1 or 2, happens with such regularity, that it almost seems like a tactic!!

With all respect to Widnes, who were good - well, miles better than us at any rate - it's hardly going to surprise any opponent if the dummy half constantly picks up the play the ball, and then sticks his head down!

Would you have come on here bemoaning the ref if you'd of won? On a separate note, I think you will stay in SL, if that is the MPG, then so be it. I thought before yesterdays game, the winner will stay up, but I also thought that whoever lost yesterday would win the MPG. Good luck for the rest of the season and I'm sure I'll be making the trip to the LSV in SL 2018!

Thanks Ryo. No complaints about Thaler yesterday. He was more 'picky' than he has been in our previous games, but was scrupulously fair. I'd happily have him again next week.
To be honest, based on our three comprehensive defeats at your hands, I'm baffled why you finished bottom of SL. For our part, if we allow Warrington, 'Fax, and London to dominate us like you did, the MPG may not be attainable!

| As an aside, has anyone seen the still photo on the club email, promoting Saturday's trip to Warrington? It's a fine shot of James Clare about to score his debut try. They also appear on James's twitter account (@JamesClare91) - have a look at the photos! Anyway, they shows James about to ground the ball, and having grounded it, with his trailing foot on the floor, in touch - not on the line but completely over it! Perhaps he lifted his foot as he grounded the ball, but maybe this is a case of poor decisions evening up - although it didn't do us much good!

Have seen that, absolutely scandalous miss by the touch judge. As bad as any missed tackle or dropped ball.
