| Winner of HKR vs Hudds final week should stay up and I think it'll be HKR based on what Hudds have offered up in their two matches against the serious competition (Leigh and Salford).
Whilst a great performance from Leigh, for Hudds to at one point early in the 2nd half to be conceding at a point a minute when you were up to 48 points (and could've been worst if the 'obstruction' try hadn't been incorrectectly ruled out) is shocking from Hudds in such an important crucial game and serious questions have to be asked about attitude/desire.
That leaves a MPG of Hudds vs Salford.....at the moment that looks like whoever wants it least will go down.

| My old Salford mate, Pete, has been uncontactable since before the loss to Leeds. If anyone has seen a skeleton with a Salford cap surmounting a PDG replication of a well known Munch portrait, please return him to Barton. The whole damn caboodle is (only slightly) less fun if I can't deride his latest conspiracy theory. Pete, mate, if you are not already swinging from the railway bridge, please pop into our after work usual so that I can rip the micturate out of your squeaky bum panic.

BaB , both Frank and myself went to watch Salford v Fev this afternoon, 2 very poor teams Fev were woeful, it was that bad Salford seemed to score off every set, Fev's tackling non existent, for me the MPG is certain to be Hudds v Salford, I hope Salford survive.

| If Salford can put big scorelines on against both London and Batley then they could even leapfrog Hudds and get 4th and home advantage (although not sure what's happening with the grounds availability of the MPG)

Worked late today for a Sunday and then went down into Salford. Thought, after seeing today's results that Skeletor might come out of hibernation and was proved right. Actually offered genuine congrats to Leigh as well as a pint that was seconded by another regular. I was in full C&W livery to make damned sure that they remembered my allegiance.
SL is next year. Batley next. No slope but we owe it to ourselves to put in another shift.

Marwan has said that AJ Bell is unavailable even if they earn home advantage.
LSV and Warrington both being considered as alternatives.

| I'll be watching, and for once i won't be biting my fingernails, just sit back and enjoy, I think we could see Salford going down Huddersfield i think will win but it'll be close, or it could be Hull KR in the MPG?

| I am viewing this from the 'how many fans it affects' standpoint & unfortunately Salford have the weakest fan base whereas KR have the strongest.
It would be nice to just add Leigh to the SL & keep Salford but this is the nature of the beast.
My views on how/where SL should go are out there.

| I don't want Salford to go down, if I could choose it would be HKR, but I'm a betting man and my money is Hudds for the drop.

Salford are most obviously our neighbours & being a Mancunian & adopted Athertonian/Leyther it would be sad to see them drop but the fans don't seem to have the stomach for it anymore.
