Quote: Bent&Bongser "I remember a window cleaner that used to sup in The Woolpack on the old bus station, telling the tale back in the day. He had been out trying to collect his pennies when, at one house at which the resident was presumably on nights, he encountered a sign that read "Do NOT knock or ring bell." The enterprising shammy-shimmier (according to the legend of his own selling) thought about it for a while before opening the letter-box and yelling through it, "A't in, ya boogahs?"

Just thought I'd share it.'"

As an outsider looking in I think you best chance and it's a really good chance is to avoid the intense MPG. Team that play regular super league may be too difficult with player careers at risk. Beat the champ teams plus HKR and you have hit the jackpot.

A HKR V Salford or V Hudd would be great and good luck that this year you get your rewards.

Glad Wakey aren't in it (Yes I admit we dodged a bullet last year)

Quote: g_balls "I'm not sure where this Hull KR are the weakest super league team comes from? We've beaten all the other super league teams in the qualifiers with us over the regular rounds and didn't finish bottom of the league. Is it based purely on our injury situation?'"

Well the facts point to both Salford and Hudds being the weakest SL teams now.Hudds being the team that took a pasting at the AJ Bell in a similar fashion to what KR did to Salford last night.
Given we all agreed Salford shouldn't be in the Qualifiers and are a top 6 team, they are under performing and vulnerable now. Will be a very interesting climax to the business end of the business end.

Hull KR wanted it far more last night and fully deserved the win. Nothing personal against them but if we'd played well last night we'd have won as we are a better team than them. Unfortunately we've chosen the worst time to produce our worst 2 performances of the season. We were absolutely abysmal and I'm now seriously worried that we've dug ourself a hole we can't get out of. Lui is playing on one leg and there seems to be something going on behind the scenes affecting the players.

We're now nailed on for the MPG and I for one am seriously starting to sh*t my pants that we'll brick it and put in another lousy showing. It seems farcical that after such a decent showing this season we now look a 50/50 bet to go down. Typical Salford though and after 27 years of watching them this just about sums us up!

Your saying if you'd played well you'd have beaten us but you've lost twice to us this season what happened when we put 40 odd on you earlier in the season

Without the points deduction we finished 6th. So yes over the course of the season we were better than HKR and in my opinion we are (when both teams play to their potential) the better team. In the same way that Wigan, Wire, Hull etc are better than us! I'm not making wild claims, the table doesn't lie! Not after getting into a slanging match on here.... just very disappointed that what looked like a promising season could turn into potentially the end of my club as I know it.

Yes but I'm not the one saying we're a much superior team we've played them three times and beaten them twice

Without reading my post again I'm not sure I said "much superior" as that implies a huge difference between the teams that there clearly isn't. But again the table doesn't lie, so barring the points difference we had a better season than Hull KR. Ie we were better. Anyway, we'll lose to Leeds as per normal and I expect to win the last 3 (but if our attitude is as poor as the last 2 games then that's not guaranteed!). Losing to BOTH. Leigh and Hull KR is fairly catastrophic as it would take some unexpected results to now avoid the MPG.

No you wouldn't, you would have finished 8th.

But still above Hull KR.

Yep, and I'm worried if they do we will go to there place in the mpg - because of our points difference we need another SL scalp.
