London - H
Salford - H
Featherstone - A
I would go with that with the objective to hit the ground running.'"
Unbelievable, You couldn't write it !
I will tell you something else, I am beginning to feel it now and I for one can not wait for it to begin. Up the comics !

| Think we have done quite well there with no 5 day turnarounds. Although I wouldn't want it to come to the last game needing a win.

I agree Demon. I am beginning to feel nervous excitement.
Leigh RLFC still does that to me at my age. It's in the blood.

| Glad that the RFL listened to HR Jnr's Christmas list. Two home games to kick things off, though Salford will be a big ask as they were better than bottom four material and wouldn't have finished there barring the dodginess of Kool££££. Fev away is never a stroll in the park either. I do, however, rejoice to see their name on the fixture list rather than that of the Bulls as my ageing memory can't recall the last time Fev beat us. Even two seasons ago when they were our closest challengers we beat them in the cup, (closer each day) home and away in the regular season and in the play-offs - I remember thinking before the last match of Jaffar's line regarding (Disney"s) Aladdin - "How many times do I have to kill you, boy?" Then Bratfud came down and we began with the battle of LSV, followed by two other narrow wins, two draws and a loss. As a result it wasn't just schadenfreude with which I greeted the score of the Million Ha'penny Game last Sunday, but with a fair amount of relief.
I need to type something now just in case I have to eat my words in a month's time:
STRONG ALE & CURRY, STRONG ALE & CURRY, STRONG ALE & CURRY (repeat to fade)
As to Leeds last, their returning players have started to produce the results that we associate with Leeds in the last few weeks. As far as I can see it, the M8s fixture against them was looking like a write off and so that may as well account for one of the three a w away games. Good draw on the whole. Thanks HRJ.

Not a bad effort. I think Nigel Woods must read this forum. Lol

I think so too Ian, however, The Giants game at home is looking like it could be a real humdinger.
These are their fixtures
7th Aug - Salford away
14th Aug - Featherstone home
21st Aug - Batley away
4th Sep - London home
10th Sep - Leigh away
18th Sep - Leeds home
25th Sep - KR away
So potentially their game against us could wrap their promotion up.
On the other hand, these are our fixtures
Sat. 6th August London Broncos - home
Sat. 13th August Salford - home
Sun. 21st August Fev - away
Sat. 3rd September Hull Kr - away
Sat. 10th September Huddersfield Giants - home
Sat. 17th September Batley Bulldogs - home
Fri. 23rd September Leeds Rhinos - away
So a win against the Giants could potentially put us in a good position before Batley at home.

| you guys think Salford were better than bottom 4 well maybe in terms of points won they were but i tell you now Leeds and Midgets are far stronger than them and H.K.R at least their equals . I do not see Batley , London or Fev beating anyone apart from each other so i reckon it will be
Leigh v H.K.R or Salford in M.P.G

| 3 wins against championship opposition should get you an away tie at Hull KR in the final, can't see you winning it even with all those players you've recently signed just like Wakey did last year, but it will be a big improvement and show the RL world you mean business.
