On current form I would suggest Drinkwater at 6 and Reynolds at 7 would be our best combination. Both have been playing brilliantly! Although I am unsure when Reynolds is back from injury.

| Rugby league player is not a job for life. Competition should give life to a team. As pointed out elsewhere, the team do not know when they are beaten.
On the game itself I was surprised at the delaying tactics, 'injuries' etc employed by Bradford at scrums and drop outs. Don'the think Addy had anything left to bandage by the time we had finished

Transfer deadline is about 2 weeks away I think.
1 week before the end of the league.
Deadline is far too late IMO but wouldn't mind us taking advantage of it if we can!
A top quality winger to compliment Higson would do nicely, Kay just isn't delivering this season like he did last year. Higson is in great form!

| But don'the they have to have played 3 games to be allowed to play in the middle 8s, hence the glut of signings last week?

| I have to hang my head low & admit I wasn't there today, but in my defence her indoors booked our 4 year olds 5th Birthday party for today (yes you read that right) & a life time of earache would be more painful than missing today.
I did follow @Mark_Taylor on twitter & then MIXLR late on & I was terrified in that 2nd half.
Big raps to all the Leigh & Bradford fans *it sounded great even on MIXLR*.
I don't think anyone will be promoted this season but I will be there for the 8's & at LSV next week for Fax.
What concerns me most is that we have spent 'BIG' very 'BIG' yet seem a mile off SL, yet SL is poor this year.
Looking at our squad you would [ithink[/i SL should be [iachieveable[/i but yet it looks anything but. If it looks this way on our recruitment then what chance any other Club ?
On a positive note, it seems we have [isome of[/i the old Man Utd type NEVER SAY DIE attitude which might just help us achieve something against one of the SL 8's teams.
Well done Leigh, a win v Fax next Sunday & League Leaders 3 in a row.

| I really enjoyed today's game, and I think Bradford seem to raise their game when playing us, I thought they were a tad unlucky to come away with nothing today.
Our performance was a mixed bag,the forwards again were massive, Mick H,Reni, Harrison, Hock, Fui,and Cory all ran hard, the backs did nowt wrong they just lack a yard of pace, I worry about the middle 8s especially Leeds and Hudds, but you have to be in it to win it and we are Deffo in it
I'm still not sure about our best half back combo,Drink, Burns or Riddy even through in Reynolds , but I think we looked a void of ideas when Mick H went off, still we are top, bring on Fax next week should be a cracker. Can't wait.

Not seem em play for a while (probably due to the run of away games) and for the 1st 15mins today though we had it sussed, dominating the rucks quick PTB, in Bradfords faces not giving them an inch. Not doing anything spectacular but controlling the game at what seemed a SL pace, playing SL type rugby - expected us to go on from there and put 40 past em. From there we seemed to lose the plot a bit and let Bradford dominate us. Then when we had to towards the end we seemed to step it up a bit and sneaked it.
Came away a bit deflated TBH, needs the full 80 to stand any chance, and not seen anything close if I'm honest

| True Charlie, should be a good 'un against Fax.
First half today Leigh dominated but let Bulls off the hook. But, Leigh were average and Bulls very average.
Second half was even-stevens, both sides average.
Mickey made all the difference today. Riddy is no 9 and shouldn't be even asked to play there. He's a 6, kicks better than Smith and Burns combined. And of course he can pass to his right!
Overall, a decent second half for the neutrals and an exciting finale - but SL?
Nah. Not even close.

Ant , some on here have praised our defence today , but near our own line I thought we looked a bit suspect,I agree about Riddy he shouldn't be asked to play hooker,I'm still not sure what our best halves pairing is, and the thought of SL has me worried, though I feel we can win the MPG given the chance, then Derek would need to spend again , but I think he knows that after seeing his move for the Aussies winger.

Yeah, our defence got worse as the game went on. We sat back too often. Then again, in that heat, we gave ourselves way too much defending to do.
Going into the 8s, Drinkwater and Burns will probably be our best bet, TBF, but Burns needs to step it up from here on in.
And, Liam Kay, last season, would have scored today when his chance came, but he was slow. What a shame, though, because last season he was brilliant.

Because of the usual circus that surrounds him people seem to forget just how good of a rugby league player Gaz Hock is.
Last week against London and again today I thought he was absolutely superb!

Aye, Bradford fans thought it was a penalty every time he caught the ball
