| I am sure those who have played - remember nothing worse than a player who uses the elbow as a weapon. While I do not condone the retaliation - it is very difficult when team mates are getting injured and the referee has not got the where with all to spot it - not to react.
The facial injuries were I am told all caused by the use of the elbow.
I have not seen the game as it was not uploaded - the referee amassed the score of 50/100 in the League Express and that seems generous, although the lowest I have seen for some time.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

| Dan Fleming found guilty of all 3 Grade B charges (Grade B = 1 to 2) and somehow has his ban reduced to 1 game and 100 quid fine. So if Acton gets found guilty of his 2 Grade D charges (3-5) I would expect his ban to be just 3 games for consistency anyway.

| Unfortunately Gareth Hock is blighted by Refs, if he had took Kays head off like Stu Litter did, Hock would have received a straight Red Card and everyone would have said; its Gareth Hock again!
The Hard men of the past Rocky Turner, Vince Karaulius et al..... would have punched back if they were punched!
I saw Hock with his hands by his side taking punches at Dewsbury, when the officials sorted it ,he was Sin Binned along with the guy who through the punches
We have been on the receiving end a number of times this season and, I for one don't blame Hock for hitting back!
I hope our Blokes are up for it against Fev at the LSV, they got away with it nicely under Jimmy Childs (Hock hater) at Fev!

He actually got a 1 game ban for each offence, but 2 of the bans are to run concurrently. Overall banned for 2 games and a £100 fine

| I thought it stated on the rfl website that his total ban was reduced to one game only. Either way looking at the disciplinary referrals for Bulls v Swinton and Swinton v Leigh and watching the Bulls v Leigh game on Saturday sort of tells you all you need to know.

| Well let's see if the tribunal feel "that it is appropriate to look at the offences in an overall picture" come Leigh's turn.

| Having been lucky enough to see the Youtube (?) clip of the brawl, before it was removed, I don't honestly think that Hock's alleged punching offence was all that serious. He was primarily involved in pulling players out of the melee, and threw 2/3 very half-hearted punches when it all kicked off. I thought only one of the punches made contact, with the Swinton player. Certainly Ashton Simms and Brad Singleton traded many more blows in the Warrington v Leeds game last week, and they just got one match each.
If the 'contact with an official' charge is the one shown in the same clip, Hock just appeared to tug (very slightly) on the 4th official's track suit as he made his way out of the melee. In all honesty, I can't see five match bans coming from either of those alleged incidents.

| I saw the video also Alan. 3 matches for hock max. Two for Jamie and one for Mickey. Like you say there were more punches thrown in the other game and Units brawl. We should be looking a the legality of bans any longer than that.
