| Is it just me who thinks it's a good thing we've lost?
It'll keep us fresh for the middle 8s

| Shocks happen.
We are usually the shockers.
Today we were shocked.
That's what makes our game great.
Time to move on

| I don't agree with the, "It's only the cup, not important, not the main target" thinking. That is bollux, it was a game we should have won, it is a chance of a reasonable payday lost and it is a kick in the nuts to those who shelled out money to support the team.

| I agree Reffy. Just under 2 years ago we were level away at Leeds with 10 minutes left, but today......I love the Challenge Cup, sounded an awful performance today, yet we lost by 2 points. That tells you how 'brilliant' Toulouse are.

Reffy while I agree about your comment about fans who shelled out for the French trip, and I would have been there myself but I have another priority in a couple of weeks time. For me last ses ons Cup run although put a few quid in the Club's coffers ,cost us dearly when it came to the middle 8s ,as I feel the excersions of Cup rugby left us jaded, hopefully now we can concentrate on getting as high in the League as possible and getting most of our injured players back for the (Business End) of the season.I'm sure Jukesy and the lads will welcome a week off on the 8th May week end,and hopefully the boys can concentrate on the second half of the League Season, and then prepare for the middle 8s in a sharper body and mind.

| We need an experienced coach soon. apart from whitehaven and workington at home, we have not played well for 80 minutes yet, relying on quick scoring bursts in the second half. so derek b spends a fortune on signing quality players, rowley quits (why, we will never know) and says to neil 'fancy a go mate'. I doubt jukes will be in charge next season, infact if he is, then I will eat a hat, not my own, because I do not own one

We've been spoiled for a few years! A couple seasons ago we were relagated and saved by another teams unfortunate circumstances.
Yes we lost, but Wigan got stuffed at Wakefield, Leeds are massively underperforming, yet looking at the league table we're doing what we're expected. Bradford aren't, London haven't.
I'd sooner have the points on the table, look average than be bottom half, but throwing the ball around.'"
You need pace to do that.Hence the style of play has changed, along with the way of thinking!

Being spanked by Hull KR in the second half (namley Dixon), a caning by the ref at Salford, in addition to a few key injuries (Hock, Ridyard, possibly a few more) - it's evident the players lost it psychologically and didn't have the resources to respond to a defeat. Were they physically burnt out? Either way, they weren't good enough when it mattered. Did the cup run really have a negative impact on the middle 8's?

That's why we have the resources this season,to counteract everything you just stated,or have you been on another planet somewhere.
