penalty count in first half 6-1 to leigh, they then conceded something like 6 on 20 minutes and proceeded to throw the game away with their refusal to play to a structure, throwing the ball about is exciting and all well and good against the likes of Hunslet, Doncaster etc but suicidal against teams a bit more classier.

i'm pretty sure the lesson will have been learnt anyway, you have shown enough to suggest you can compete with SL teams in terms of skill etc but game management is a different beast.

Yes Armstrong was poor again. Liam just didnt look like he fancied it against Sio. We did the right things in the first half but went back to missing out our sets again I. The second. Disrespect a team like KR and this is what happens

Well I was in the North Stand today so I have no idea what happened.

I don't think the ball got anywhere near us. I watched the entire game from over 100 yards away and find it hard to praise or call Leigh/Hull/Thaler as the entire match took place a mile away from where I was stood.

Will watch it back on SKY before I give an opinion. Should have watched through binoculars for all the rugby I saw today. So frustrating!

Disappointing to see Leigh switch off at half time. It was in the bag. Hard work done and they go to sleep. I hope it doesn't cost them in 7 weeks.
I have to say that I just don't rate Moi Moi as the big name player. Is anyone worried about him. Does he break a tackle. If you could turn the clock back I am sure a better player could be signed.

Let's be honest, we did blow it. But I believe the lads are a clever enough bunch (OK, not all of them. But we can't [iall[/i be good players [iAND[/i great tactically) to learn massively from the 2nd half today. In fact, that 2nd half might just be what we needed, funnily enough!

First half we blew Hull KR away, basically, and they didn't know what had hit them. Second half, we lost CONCENTRATION and then ultimately our game management suffered. Hull KR then sensed blood time and time again and we had no answers to our own undoing.

I thought Leigh showed enough in that 1st half to show they'll do well in the 8's. It's a reminder though that the SL clubs will punish you if you give them enough opportunities. I thought KR were there for the taking today though and I suspect you might like back on this game as one that got away.

Probably not one that you were expected to get points for though so I doubt Leigh will be reaching for the panic button. It will be interesting to see if there will be any dent in confidence now the home record is gone.
