The games not played yet. So how do you know what the points difference is?

If it is a draw then there will be an equal amount of points scored and points conceded therefore the points difference will stay exactly the same. Widnes have a better PD than HKR, Salford have a worse PD than HKR. They will both end up with exactly the same PD that they have now in the event of a draw.

Take it we will be going playing on a plastic pitch then!

Home: HKR, Wakey, Bradford and Sheffield

Away: Widnes, Salford and Halifax

The only game that can change (I think) is if Fax beat Bradford and Sheffield lose to London on Sunday. If that happens we have Fax at the LSV and Sheffield away.

Quite ironic that what has been our nearest, most 'local' fixture for the past few years is likely to be our furthest 'away' game in the middle 8's. Be nice to have some genuine rivalry. Sick of having Fax as our nearest 'derby' game.

It just makes for an amazing middle 8's for all...Pity SL top 8's can't match it..

...and me especially for the coffers.

Although I prefer and enjoy going to Halifax rather than Sheffield/Doncaster

I think Bradford and Leigh wont be up for a game against Fax as much as they would be for a game against SL opposition. Also depends who played who the week before.

Widnes have an advantage playing on their plastic pitch but so do Bradford knowing how to kick it against the lumps on their pitch. We might have to go to Widnes but at least we don't have to go back to Odsal.

Interesting.How do the RFL create the fixtures? Whats it based on? Or is it just a case of pick a scenario that looks best.

I think the order of the fixtures will make a huge difference,will the order of the seven games alternate,champ one week SL next?

For instance,say Wakey lose their first two games against SL opposition and their 3rd game is against Fax,the pressure on them would be enormous and Fax would really fancy their chances.
On the other hand,Wakey win their first game against a champ club,then play Fax next,you would then think they would be full of confidence and it would be harder for Fax.

Very valid points, I would think that the RFL would dream of weighting the games in favour of the SL teams.

Yeah another interesting point..Widnes I believe lost 3 players through injury today to add to the 5 already injured.Be very interesting to see the fixtures Wednesday..

I thought the fixtures were already cast in stone?
