Absolutely shocking. We all expect our players come off the field with bumps, bruises and injuries. No one expects their players to enter the field of play and never come home to their loved ones. Thoughts and prayers go out to Danny's family and to the keighley club on this tragic day.

I can't stop thinking about this, and every tribute I read has me in tears. I didn't know Danny or even know that much about him as a rugby player but the thought of his poor wife with those tiny twins waiting for him to come home only or even worse, watching what happened from the sidelines just breaks my heart.
It's just too awful for words.
