What I dont understand is (and please dont take this the wrong way) what was the draw to Leigh? He said he had offers from SL and I would imagine half the SL teams would have loved to sign him. I cant imagine Leigh could significantly outbid the SL teams. Even surprised Salford didn't go for him (which they may have done for all I know).

Anyway, ignore the jealousy, hes a fantastic player and a real character, delighted to see him in England and in the championship, even if it isnt with Fax.

It isnt just about working to find this years salary, its about building another generation of fans, just his name alone is a marketing mans dream, its the type of opportunity that could bring in a generation of fans long term for the club, if exploited to the max
