You've turned down an official approach and transfer fee offer from Leeds and also 2 transfer requests from the lad himself as he wants to speak to Leeds to see what they have to offer

Recipie for disaster holding a player back who at least wants to see what's on offer. Especially to one of the big clubs, may risk losing him for nothing when contract ends and a not very motivated player in the mean time

His contract is too long for that... 2 years of uninterested play and he won't be getting the big boys chasing him when he's off contract.

Yes true, but can't be good for a dressing room. Not sure who the other team is. Think it would be difficult to hold a player back from any of the top teams. If a wakey came calling would be a lot easier as staying put at Leigh and you will end up potentially in the same league anyway.

Just to let you know latest, Ryan has had two transfer requests rejected as leigh didn't let him speak to Leeds let alone reject an offer. They are not letting him join Leeds and he's not happy with it. He wants the move and to progress his future. An article regarding this will be in the evening post this week.

when will we hear what is happening with ryan does anybody know,will it be this week,next week, or when? it needs sorting out sooner rather than later.............
