Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.

Exactly Frank it totally ruined it. The atmosphere before that happened was something I have never experienced. It was fantastic. From James to the kick off was the best I have ever seen and do you know what, Wigan were by far the best team for me. Shaun Wayne and Ben Flower should spend the next week in the stocks. |

Well you are easily pleased. Like you I went as a neutral but there wasn't one move from either side that got me out of my seat.
Flower lost Wigan the game in the second minute and had he not been so daft I think we would have seen a much better game |

Correct, the anti RL media (BBC, papers) will take great pleasure in showing the assault on an unconscious player, up to now every news report has shown the thump and Saints lifting the cup, no tries shown. Well done to the pies for dragging our game into the mire |

Imagine how good we could be having that level of bulk/conditioning and the type of RL we have played this season
I thought it was lacking skill with the little flair coming from Wigan and think the refs this year need to take a long hard look at how they officiate games and realise the industry we are in
Flower will get 16 games

Well he won't despite what he did. Daft beggar lost his head in a moment of madness and he will have suffered already as a consequence of his actions.
He will get 4 games imo and should be made to pay me back my ticket money for ruining what could have been a good game. |
