| It makes you feel disloyal to choose just one player and i ended up going for Ryan as he has gone from scoring to making things happen with his positioning and distribution

| Brierley was the star up until May and Riddy had a quiet start to the season, when Ryan's performances went off Riddy's form improved and he is having a strong end to the season. That's the problem with these types of polls, fans just remember the last few performances not the whole season. It's player of the season! Bob Beswick has been consistently good all season.

| Beswick been good again all season, he could be in contention to win it.like he won it last year. Penky as well but obviously these players will be overlooked as they just get on with their job and don't jump in front of crowd to get noticed.

| Sam Barlow for me. Would've voted for the whole team but the big man has just been the most entertaining to watch this year for me. The Fev game just made me sure.

Tom Spencer won it last year Leyther100, I think BB won Players' Player.

| If it's this hard for us, imagine how hard it will be for Paul to choose his 'Coach's Player of the Year'.

| Due to the fact that LISA have decided to run a Fans' Player award, we will unfortunately not be running the Leighlife one.
It was suggested that both awards could be given but we think there can only be one Fans Player and that honour should rightly go to LISA. If we had known that LISA was going to be running their own poll for the Fans Player, we would have done an award for something else, maybe Young Player, unfortunately it's now too late to do a different one as there isn't time to start a new poll and we go away next week.
I'd like to apologise and thank all 351 people who have already voted and it will be interesting to see if the LISA poll ends up with the same result as the Leighlife one.
Thanks all.

| I think the decision to abandon the fans award vote is not the best decision.
LISA consists of a subset of our fans who make a specific financial contribution to our club. Many of our fans would like to be LISA members, but cannot afford to be. Those fans, many of them passionate and committed to our club, are now ineligible to vote for the fans player of the year simply because they aren't members of LISA.
Looking logically at the situation, I can't see what specific harm would come from both awards being presented this year. Clearly next year would require co-ordination, co-operation and/or withdrawal of one or either award.
But I do think it's unfair to penalise those who aren't LISA members. It's a fans award, and while LISA consists of fans there is a barrier to entry that some cannot overcome.

| This is my thoughts too Michael, there are fans who are not LISA members and they need to be allowed a vote.
My I suggest that their votes are added to the LISA one, obviously any one like myself who has voted in both , this will have to be adjusted
regards Lynda

| Whilst I agree with what you're saying, I still feel that there should only be one Fans' Player award and next year, presuming LISA will run this award every year, we will come up with something different - unfortunately we just don't have the time to do it this year.
