Speak to the Valuation Office in Manchester, who are responsible for banding properties for CT purposes. If your banding goes down they will notify the local CT office (I pressume W...n in your case). Once the council receive notification of the new banding a refund will be issued for any overpayments you have made. You do not have to apply to the council for the refund.

These listings were done by 'drive by' estate agents when Thatcher had to quickly replace the poll tax. They are frequently wrong.

Phone them Frank, play along as they will "fish" for a company you have had a loan with and when you mention it they will be off saying how wonderful they are . When they transfer you to the next person in the chain just hang up. I've not had a call about PPI since I did this about 3 months ago.
Did this again last week about carbon credits and pushed them to tell me which type of carbon credits they were selling, when I asked if they were the valuable ones or the worthless ones they hung up on me - cheeky baskets. These calls do brighten up the day when you are sat at home waiting for the next episode of star trek.
