| I dont have a problem withthe the generall ticket pricing i would just like to know how many concession season tickets we sold last season
In my opinion what ever the number we sold it will definatley be halved this season
Do the board members take time out to look how much worse off people over the age of 60 are today
In one foul swoop the Season ticket prices double from people aged 60/64 this cant be fair so i expect a large drop yet again in season ticket sales
Last season we were aproxamatley 300 season tickets down
I think the board must brace themselves for another large drop
in season ticket sales

I share your concerns. That's why I've raised the matter with the Board. hopefully, they will see the prblem that's being created.

| you pay your money (or not) and take your choice.
Even smaller crowds next season I imagine, but why they were lower this season anyway ????
Well done the (small) board of directors !
Fetch Bob to the game....doubt it.

| I know one or 2 over sixties who probably wont renew their season tickets next year because of the % rise in their tickets , we need all the cash we can get , but i feel this is the wrong way to go about it .

| I think the club have been hasty about the decision to raise the age for concessionary tickets and will reconsider.
I think too that concession prices at Leigh have been a couple of quid a game too low for the last two seasons and that needed addressing.

Thanks for the feedback Frank. (and Charlie too) I'm glad others feel the same way, and I too hope the Board has a re-think on this one.

Do what Derek? If you mean how did they increase it to 65, the evidence is that they haven't. The majority in the Championship still use 60 as the guideline, although the RFL, being out of line for once use 65.

Charlie, I feel strongly about this issue and won't let it go. I realise and understand that the club needs to raise money, but I fear this will have the opposite effect.

I'm with you on this one Alan - same as Charlie age wise and therefore effected by this change as are a few more I reckon - it's unacceptable to increase ST / entrance fee, for those who are currently between 60 and 65, by that %age - because of a change in policy that is not in line with our competitors. Certainly make me think twice about a ST next year

| To me this is yet another stupid decision badly sold to the customer base by people who do not know how to do these things. They have marketeers to call upon within the loyal sponsor group who could help, did they ask these people eg Derek B? or did we have the arrogance we have seen too often recently.
We are in this fight together, have some respect for the stakeholders who filled the void this year via LISA, Lottery, Corporate Club or buying tickets to watch games.
We have plenty soul less sound bytes like 'fetch bob' or 'BeLeighve' or the endless comittees to show how 'listening and engaging' we are. The board have worked wonders in many areas but in others ......................
Have a rethink and engage those with ability who would help. We all want the same thing, please allow those struggling in these difficult times to remain attending fans.

| I can't do Fridays but joined the touchdown club anyway paying £180 over the season for the privilege. Given the rise in the cost of a season ticket for me (63 at the start of next season) I expect the touchdown club to increase the cost of membership
As we are playing 3 matches on a Friday next season and I will be on holiday 2 Sundays I will probably miss 4 matches; so no touchdown club or season ticket for me next year - I will pay on the day and this is why support drops every year. Featherstone on a Friday and York / Hunslet on a Sunday-its raining sunday afternoon £18 to watch a poor match equals can't be bothered to go.
The season ticket keeps supporters interested no matter who we play yet we seem to be driving them away. How many more surveys do we need to confirm that Sunday is the day we want our rugby?
As for the players we seem to have overlooked that they work full time and will have to come home from work on a Friday and then turn out again to play 80 minutes of rugby.
The only people who will benefit from Friday night matches are those with caravans or who support Liverpool Bolton Wigan or some other football club that does not play on a Friday.
We were the first club to play on a Sunday back in about 1967, it was a good move then and I think it remains so.

| The question should actually be why have we been subsiding people 60-65 years of age, no logic in it .The state pension age should be what the club should work off, why should someone aged 60 be allowed to sponge off the rest of us ?
