| Quote: charlie caroli "I agree Fred about why we pay the Coach , its his job to select the team , but we can voice our opinions ,again Paul has playedd the game , but horses for courses as they say , if the game was played in my garden i would still pick our Fastest player , our top try scorer , our game breaker IE =Ryan Brierley ,this weather and pitch is made for him ,Frankel is the BEST racehorse ever seen for many years , much FASTER than any around , i have NEVER trained a racehorse but i know Sir Henry Cecil his trainer wouldnt race him on soft or heavy ground , reason ?His speed would be affected.
sorry to pull you up charlie, but Frankel won his maiden at newmarket on soft ground, and sir henry has statedthat he goes on any ground

| It was a little earlier than 5 minutes left to be fair, the game stopped for a few minutes when Duffy got knocked out.

He didn't come back on the pitch but he was at least well enough to join the players in applauding the fans after the game.

| Not knocking anyones opinion just stating my own, (I am allowed to do so as well,) and saying a fact re the coach, but the problem with having a halfback on loan or dual is that their parent club can play silly beggars like withdrawing him from training with his loan club to stand by then not picking him (ask the player in question what happened this week), also Gallagher didn't play.
The Henderson bit was easy as I read it on the press release on the club website

Jumping your guns abit there - it's only six. (we've played eight and lost the first two). Dewsbury gave us a real workout today. Their defence was excellent, until they finally gave way in the last ten minutes - that's the benefit of being an eighty minute team.
Thought the tackle on Duffy looked rather high, but wasn't even put on report. (Did you realise Laithwaite was cited last week, for the first minute challenge on Hunslet scrum half?) I also thought the Dewsbury players were out of order dragging our physio away from Duffy, so they could try to re-start the game - although she stood her ground and looked ready to get stuck in! She'll do!
And Ridyard missed a kick, after having booted (I think) 20 in succession. Time to get a different coloured pair of boots!

| Replaying the Duffy incident how did the ref miss it? I have just watched it in slow motion and in normal time and it was a hit to the head Duffs had sidestepped him and the nu 15 just flung his arm at Duffy smacking him across the face, not even a penalty, the incident with our Physio (Katie) occurred as the Dewsbury forward seemed intent on playing the ball on top of Duffs who was lying prone on the turf and an 'altercation' occurred between her (she's about 5'3" and 9 stone wet through and he is about 6' 3" and around 16 stone) and the forward which resulted in a bit of pushing and shoving, and the regular Ghouls on the gantry beside me were shouting 'cheat cheat cheat' at Duffs and 'send him off', they are no doubt some of the worst speccies in Rugby league, and not one seemed under 65.

When you get the chance Fred - how far offside were we when Steve Maden's 'try' was disallowed by the TJ, about 50 yards away. And were the Dewsbury players onside, following up the kick for their second try?
