Nope, not a chance, full time team with stars on big wages from a higher division and with a budget probably 8 times higher than ours and who are probably capable of picking three of four teams from the various squads that could and should beat us.
I bet plenty of people said the same when we played Salford in the CC a few years ago  |

Having been to Ewood Park last night and watched my footy team get relegated I cant tell you how much I am looking foward to Friday.....Because I know that in contrast to what I witnessed last night our Lads will give 100% and leave that pitch proud and with the full support of us Leythers regardless of the result!!
Anything less than 100% in this game and your gonna get hurt!

Reealllyyy? Widnes beat Wigan this year, doesn't make them a good side. They got pasted 44-0 when it counted against a decent team last year and were distinctly ordinary. Comparing them in 2011 to Leeds is madness. We'll see if i'm wrong anyway, i'll go Leeds by 28 after Leighs best performance of the year. |

if leeds put the 20's out, they will get beat, it's that simple. Boys against men. As talented as they may be, how many games have their pack played at senior level?! Against a team with four forwards all in the best years of their careers for forwards (late 20's), and a couple of talented youngsters, they will get turned over up front.

Salford weren't in as comparatively a good place as Leeds are now, we were a much better side then (or is that just my rose tinted specs?), but without that pitch and weather leveling the odds, we'd have got stuffed.
It was a great comeback though
