Think Sky have spat their dummy out after the draw, the 'main' two teams they can rely on for viewers is a Saints v Wigan derby, obviously they were drawn together and BBC had first choice, leaving Sky with a not very mouth watering remaining fixtures. They've chosen the all Super League game instead the on paper, one sided game.

Gutting for us as we lose the TV money that over the last 4 days our Chiefs will have been absolutely ecstatic with. All we can hope for now is Leeds travel with a few extra numbers and the armchair fans that were going to watch in the pub will make the effort and come to the game. Besides we can let Sky know how we feel when we get to the semis.

we should tell them to do 1 ! play the game sunday at 6pm or saturday 6pm

If it is not on TV get the game played on Saturday and tell the RFL to do one. Do what is best for us not them.

If it isn't on TV then it should be up to Leigh & Leeds to arrange the game. Play it when it suits,. play it Thursday and Premier Sports could stump up.

Or have we been told to keep the Saturday open in case Wigan want to play there.
I think this is why we are playing Friday, it was orginally Keighley at home this weekend so Swinton aren't playing Sunday, however e may have decided it clashes with the footy and not wanted this to affect fans coming.

Wigan/Saints will prob be at the LSV on Sat.

Have to say it becomes deflating when we are the ones with the ground and we have to shuffle around to suit if this is the actual case.

Maybe the LSV have had something to do with it - they will be quids in with these two games

Maybe with all the 'rumours' of the last few days hinting at a Friday 8pm sky game our club have started gearing up in preparation for this date once it was confirmed. Only now, at the last minute, SKY have decided not to televise it? I'd guess it's now up to the club if they'd like to change it or not? All I want is for an announcement from the club confirming day and time as soon as possible so I can TRY and get off work and make the match. At the moment it looks like Friday 8pm. But I will be less than impressed if I get Friday night off only for the club to move it to Saturday due to lack of broadcasting.

This whole thing has been terribly organised. At least now OUR CLUB can make its own decisions without having to wait and pander to BBC/SKY/RFL/Wigan to get their acts together!

I'm sure Trevor etc will know whats best for the club so i'm happy to see what they say!

If the pies are playing at the LSV on Saturday then I bloody well hope we are getting the pies TV money! Otherwise tell the pies AND the RFL to do one. This stinks and will cost us serious money. I hope we are getting some compo from someone for this....Anyway, how can the RFL have the pies game played at the LSV when the stadium does not exist?

Wigan to play at the DW apparantly on Sat 2:30, all a very strange to do

If you go to the fixtures section on our website it states that we are playing Friday at 8pm. I dont know how much power the RFL have over that slot but like others have said I'd have played on Sat evening rather than Friday.

Very annoyed with Sky for not showing our game. We've been hit in the pocket but I'll still be there and it'll be a great occasion under the lights with a decent crowd. Like I said before get who's left of the '71 team to do a lap of honour before the game and whip the crowd up.

Who knows it may end up tie of the round and doesnt get televised... that would be justice in itself.

You never know, it could have been Leighs choice. I don't know why you're all up in arms because you don't like it when the club may very well have chosen to stay at friday, after all, aren't many of your fixtures evening games these days? Lack of TV will be a blessing in disguise, you'll tack an extra 1000 on the gate easily which will more than make up for your lack of TV money, you watch and see.

If the ground is free, and we've no commitments to the TV cameras, why are we playing on Friday? It makes little sense.

I can understand wishing to avoid Sunday with all the football, but surely Saturday evening after the Wigan v Saints game would be a more suitable slot?
