On what basis do you come to that conclusion? More modern, sure - a nice pitch, okay - but Miners senior section has more space for spectators and a decent surface these days. Miners clubhouse feels more like a proper club whereas East feels more like a community centre. And as for the junior facilities at Manchester Road, 3 mini pitches, 1 mod pitch, 2 full size along with the main pitch. Outside catering facility and commencement of extending the junior clubhouse. Not too shabby I'd say! |

LMR junior section is the best dedicated junior facility in RL that I have seen.
A few tweaks here and there and its as near as damn it as good as some Pro football academies.
I didn’t know the club house was being extended, what are they having done Brad? |

They are extending both storeys out into the car park - more changing rooms downstairs and a new kitchen and another lounge room upstairs. A lot of the funding is in place and work is due to start in the summer break. |
