| It really doesn't matter how many good ideas there are if people don't have the spare money they won't be able to help.

| Realistically people won't pay £18, to watch Leigh v barrow. I think we could do something on the smaller games. The round we get entered in the challenge cup we should change £10 max.

But they don't have to pay £18 Ste if they buy a North Stand ticket in advance. Market value and all that. Especially as most of those who complain about the price to get in will quite happily spend £30 to sit in the pub all day on Saturday and/or Sunday.

And this for me is what needs pushing by 'us' the supporters.
When people talk to us about how expensive it is to watch Leigh at the lsv we should 'politely if we can', explain to them the true price if they get there tickets in advance.
Don't even mention the £16/£18 prices

Spot on John. £14 for an advance North Stand ticket is probably amongst the cheapest you'll get in our league this season, and it's up to us as much as the club to spread the word about it amongst home and away fans alike.

| Im not being negative but many of our converted fans are saying that they will be picking and choosing matches this season.
if you are not a converted fan already, what incentive is there for you to come down, its dearer this season, the only product we have to entice people down is the product on the pitch and hopefully we will have a good season and people will come, but I do feel we need to be doing more then putting the onouse(forgot how to spell it) on our fans.
The ticket book idea would work as..... say Matt is in the local friday night before a nite game and a couple of lads who used to come say Id have come but Ive not got a ticket and I cant be bothered with all that queing at the office lark, Matt can say here use this is £15. In theory you could use all the tickets in one match and then go back and buy another, of course you would have to give the season ticket holders same offer, and hope they arent daft enough to give the ticket to their mate who comes anyway.
You have to speculate to accumulate.

But it isn't dearer this season, it's actually cheaper than last year if buying in advance - we've really got to push this as much as possible I'd say amongst our existing fans so that we can then instill a positive mindset when speaking to potential fans. Personally, I think we get royally entertained most weeks and the atmosphere is at the very least on a par with Hilton Park with infinitely better facilities. It's just a case of telling people what they're missing out on!

| It's the same as last year if you buy early Matt. Unless you've become a student of course

Fair enough, I thought it was £15 last year but wasn't entirely sure.

| I thought it was £14 for North and £16 for West which was the same the year before. I thought they made a point that they were'nt increasing them last season. I did have a ST so I could be wrong

| You are correct and people should get their tickets before Thursday for that same price.
With luck on matchdays queues at the ticket office will be much reduced for visiting away supporters who do not buy early.
