A lot of what ifs in that game. Great game tho, and we could have genuinely won that match.
What surprises me in televised games is if ref can go to video ref for Tries, then why can't he go to him for arguably a bigger game changer of whether a player stays on or not. The penalty was given anyway, so game is stopped so why not punish the player in the game he has fouled in instead of helping the next team they play if found guilty.

There were a few things that would have changed the game 1 being the high tackle ,if he gets banned its no good to us is it ,wasn't impressed with the ref

Think he will get one game so he available for the final.
Take my hat off to England they did far better than I expected put a lot of pride back into our game.
Ref made a major error with the Briscoe try and I agree why cant the video ref not adjudicate on foul play?

Makes the Kiwi game very interesting next week lets hope thats a sell out.

Well I thought we`d have got mullered and could have won it if 1 or 2 decisions had ve gone our way.
IMO we`ll beat the Kiwis next week and then hope we get the Oz ref from the Wales v NZ game today for the Final.

thats dam good.as iv'e said before the international game has been run into the ground in favour of SL,its now time to rebuild the game as a whole.

England did well and two bad refereeing errors in no time at all cost our side.

On balance it was an enjoyable game and irrespective of those two bad reffing errors Oz always looked like they would win.

Having said that it was a lot closer than I expected.

Sam Tomkins was very good as usual and both England wingers were impressive.

Sorry FRank absolutete rubbish. Its a long time since iv'e seen a Aussie side needind to work for 80 minuites against england and but for the ref we would have won.

Yep , that game was there for the taking.
Pretty sure that if Westwood would ve made that high shot on Williams , he would ve walked.
As for the Briscoe No Try, bad mistake from the ref who could ve quite easily gone to VR.
As for Tim Sheens he`s like Phil Gould, a very good coach but a total obnoxious weapon.
