No, you just spout the same old tripe because once upon a time you were an alright club in a small village but the reality is you need money now, and crowds etc and coming from where you do.. you're just not going to get that so youre all upset. If you were of any real significance then where is your next backer? Surely in all those fans out there you've got there must be some more wealthy fellas? no? exactly? Stop expecting charity from the RFL because you cant sustain a club in the area to the level of which you desire.

Dont give me the tosh about relegation ruining crowds because its rubbish, an excuse, totted out by those feeling the hard biting recession, especially the working class. The reason crowds have dropped accross the division is because SL is 14 clubs now and where you had HKR, Cas, Salford, Widnes floating around previously.. these clubs have made the step up.

Just cancelled my SKY subscription. Realised that I watched perhaps 6 SL games all season and zero footie so it doesn;t really stack up.

I will use the cancelled subs to buy into this membership scheme I saw mention of. Is there any more info on that available by the way?

It is sad to see that we have become, literally, a charity case but this is a real opportunity for the fanbase to create something sustainable on 'the other side'.

It's even sadder to see some of the younger RL fraternity lording it over us. The OP clearly stated that he felt that with a successful side WITH SOMETHING TO PLAY FOR the LSV could be filled UNLIKE the stadia of Salford, London and Huddersfield. I agree with him. People like this are clearly incapable of thinking how, with the current direction, things will shape out in the future for the sport as a whole.

As to a backer, would you invest in something when success or failure of that investment depended entirely on the whims of two men. One with a terrible eating disorder and the other a candidate RFU mole? Both pretty witless.
