Well if Swinton can afford that calibre of player on their crowds then we should have nothing to worry about next season

were have they suddenly got money from, especailly when they dont have a ground to play as yet!!!!!!!

Every club is approached by agents at this time of year, a coach ferom a next season championship club was telling our Dave that he had been offered something like 8 Leigh players and a similiar amount of Halifax ones.

The same could be said about some of their squad for this season, to be fair.

Swinton have been promoted, they will be linked to everyone at present.
I understand they may be moving back into Swinton in the next couple of years, 6/7000 new ground. If so then that attracts local interest and money, remember the £ goes a long way if spent wisely and 6/7 local folk putting a couple of grand a month in creates a full cap to spend when topping up other income.
