Irish by blood,
LEYTHER by heart and soul!!
30/04/06 "Some of W*gan's travelling fans headed towards the exit before it was even over.".................no change there then!![/quote:suio7kr3]
.....They are our people. Drummond, Costello, Manfredi, Svabic, Martyn, Street, Tickle, Patel, Mossop, Horo, Bristow, Leuleui, Varley, Fleary, Rivett, Tabern, Doran, Woods, Donlan, Wilshire, Leaefa, Hansen, Sale, Murphy… these are all my people.
As a Leyther, you’re one of us the moment you come here to wear the shirt. I don't care where you were born, what colour you are, what religion you are, what language you speak. You're one of us, part of our culture, writing our history as you create your own, and making us stronger for it....[/quote:suio7kr3]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10303.jpg |

| Quote: glow "It’s a great idea but a lot of people are going with family and friends so I think an ‘as cheap as possible’ simple plain Red T Shirt with White writing would sell more and probably make more.
Plain T shirts £1.50 each plus say £3 printing, sell for a fiver. 50p profit, shift 2000
I know nothing about how difficult it would be to sort, but just throw this in as an idea for a design:
Plain Red t-shirts/white writing. (or vice-versa...or a mixture.)
On the Front:
LEYTHER'S "BOX TICK TOUR 2011"
On The Back:
One below the other, like a series of 'tours dates' with a square box next to each:
"TRAINS CUP"
"2.5K AVERAGE"
"GRAND FINAL"
Maybe do an initial run of a few hundred in the run up to Blackpool. If we are triumphant, then produce another batch with a big tick in the first box!
Then (hopefully) produce a batch with first and second boxes 'ticked' for the last home game of the regular season....and one with all three ticked if/when we make the GF!!
In fact........could it not also be a design for the next 'flag'?? (Over to you Matt!! )

I’d possibly get one but the wife wouldn’t she’d never wear it again, nor would young glows or the other family members on our bus, but they and 20 others all happily wore their 118 shirts at £4 in a go a few years back, even Granddad and Grandma, but none have been worn since.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| After the NRC weekend the club should have nothing left as far as merchanise is concerned , they need to shift everything they have

IRN-BRU - THE NEW TASTE OF RUGBY LEAGUE !!:10619.jpg |
|
| I bought a t-shirt for a fiver at one of the earlier Grand Finals, On the day in the MM Bar. - Year 2000 or 2002,I can't remember which.
Red with 'CENTURIONS' printed vertically down the front and 'LEIGH R.L.F.C' on the back. It looked good on the day and we shifted a few. Something similar for Blackpool would be great and prove very popuar IMO.
Further more I still have this T-shirt

| I dont think we have a home game before the final ?This could prove quit difficult for the club to sell lots of merchandise.

| I strongly agree with Glow - cheap and cheerful, red and white - fiver each..I could bring a few back with me to Canada for the syndicate!

we should get into the town centre on a free week off, plus on the day we go we should open the club shop at 9am and people that want things will buy

| great ideas coming up but no one volunteering to do anything about it.
Bet on the day of the match there are loads of TAT sellers outside the club snagging anyone daft enough to spend decent money that perhaps should be spent on Leigh RLFC goods. Maurice has already played his part by buying his tickets direct from RL head office no gain for the Centurions. Good old Maurice.

| In Maurices defence when I phoned for tickets I wanted to be in the west stand but did not want to be stuck right in the corner. When I said would the RFL have better positioned seats I was told maybe and at no time was I told that the club would loose out if I didn't buy them from them. It was lucky that they also told me that they may get some more tickets nearer the halfway line in the afternoon and they would ring me back. They did and I bought them. First time I heard of us loosing out was the same night on here. If you are offered bad seats what do you do?

| So let me get this straight - does that mean the RFL's interpretation of a 'shared gate' now means "you get the profit on the tickets you sell"??
Is this a policy the club can adopt for future Trains Cup/CC games played at the LSV??

Don't think so, I think you get commission on the ones you sell, and then 50% of whats left after all the expenses, etc.
