im not having pop at someone who obviously worked hard for the club but does anyone think Allan leaving may have got rid of the bad blood between us and super league due to the famous outburst by Allan a couple of years ago when we got left out of super league?

No there are only small minded people who think that it ever exsisted in the first place, if it did why did the LSV get three international games last year? why was the league launch here last season? and the cooperative launch?, why are the RFL coming over next week to have a look at how our Lottery is run successfully? why did we win the community club award last year?

No I agree with you totally mate, just seen to remember a lot of 'well we'll never get in next time after what he said' sort of comments. Ive nwt against the bloke personally - seems to have done a good job in very hard circumstances if you ask me.

If only his critics knew the half of what he's done for this club ever since he came back as Chairman.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that if and when the club is taken over/restructured that Allan Rowley is asked back to the club?

Good luck to him for the future. He's the kind of guy that might even come back again at some stage under a different regime.

Lets hope the club continues to move forward under a new regime when that arrives.

I reckon Allan would probably jump at such an opportunity, knowing his passion for the Club. Of course, we would have to find a way of paying a CEO salary, which we haven't had to fork out while Arthur was paying it!

I would like to think that Leigh Centurions has not seen the last of Alan Rowley in a management role. This club needs characters like Alan as well as dosh.

Would be a surprise, hardly, Salford are to annouce their new coach shortly, now I wonder who itll be. Although I did hear from someone..... who should know if he was leaving that he turned them down.

My guess is 'Basil' will go to Hull at the end of the season or when our NRC progress is done, saying that Im not sure when Agars contract is up, he would be mad to turn any SL club down especially now.
