| Agree that the Boars Head is an impressive looking building when you step back, when I go out on my bike though I go through Culcheth and when you look down on Leigh the five massive mills look like a Lowry picture, love it.
Back to topic, the Robin Hood has Cumberland Ale on and is a stones throw from the Stadium with a nice walk through Pennington Flash to get to the ground. Also the chef is amazing in the Robin, cheap bar deals and home made food.

| Vastly underrated Public House, also ideal for walk to the game when you live in Lowton/Pennington

| Went to the Robin, Ale tasted like vinegar, went to Leigh East and Ale was ok. Stadium ale was crap as usual, Shepherds Inn Guinness quality. That's todays beer ratings!

No Sky is sometimes a good thing at times to avoid the 'Sunday football' lot! Nice pint of Speckled Hen in the Goose today and the food enough is decent enough for what you pay.

Black sheep was good as well Matt.
The Swinton lads in the Goose enjoyed the real ales as well.
