As some of you probably know . i have now taken a new full time job as a Foster Carer , so my time is taken up with this and traveling up and down the motorway in between , Leigh , Warrington and Preston most days ..

I 'applied' a couple of years ago (and was accepted) then withdrew it for personal reasons, and Danny Simm was made a moderator, I indicated to the mods that I was again interested some months ago and would be willing if any of them withdrew.

well I lived in Platt Bridge for 18 months and Hindley for 6 months, worked in Wigan for best part of 13 years and am partial to the odd Yates and Greers pork pie and a Dawsons M&P pie or pasty now and then (as my svelt like figure contests to). but as I was born in Firs of good Westleyth stock (me mam was from Victoria St - my dad was a pie eater but saw the light in 1956 when we moved to Atherton), judge for yourself. (and I may well partake in a Dawsons tomorrow )

And it's spelt PIE EATER
