There are NO Swinton fans who are boycotting the Willows.The harsh reality has been spelt out by John Kidd.The cost of playing at Sedgley Park couldnt be justified by the attendances we were getting.Without a car Sedgley is a difficult venue to travel to requiring a minimum two buses from Swinton.The Willows is much more accessible and hopefully with a succesful team and help from a few rugby loving Salfordians our gates will improve.The Willows is due to be demollished after Salford leave and therefore it cant be a long term option for Swinton Lions.Plans for a stadium at Agecroft are well documented and alot of people are working very hard behind the scenes to bring the club home.It is not beyond the realms of possibility that we could be there for the 2012 season if everything goes to plan.All in all its a big season for the Lions another poor season on the field would be disastous.Come and support the Lions if you dont have a game.Good luck for the season.

I think most on this board hope Swinton do well this coming season and when Leigh aren't playing I will be there to cheer your lads on.

Most recent reason I heard was "I'd rather watch Rugby Union in the Congo than pay to go into a stadium that's owned by that ba***rd Wilkinson".

I did try to explain that John Wilky doesn't actually own The Willows, and that boycotting games there would only hurt Swinton, but to no avail.

On the subject of ex-Leythers, I understand Luke Isakka is returning on Tuesday to play for Whitehaven. Did he ever get to play at Leigh or did he just take the money?

He played for about half an hour in one game if memory serves me right?
