If we're talking about new player go for youngsters who are going to be the future, i've said this in another post, the barrow winger who broke his arm in the first game of the season would be a good signing, mitchell, emmit, charmley, blythe etc youngsters though! Youngsters who are good now who will be even better in a few years, look at Riddy, one of the best stand offs in our league and look at his age, people like that we need, as a long term replacemnt for Robbie i'm still saying Danny Jones.

| Once Riddy has his operation he'll be like a new player but obviously there needs to be a new replacement for Hartley I wonder if Millward has anyone in mind or an ace up his sleeve  |

Totally agree about Riddy,if the lad has been injured,he has done really well this season, and could come back rejuvenated after a close season rest,i feel he could guide us around the field well next season,nowt much wrong with our forwards though,maybe replace Jock,and a second row like Andy Isherwood,its wingers we need,id be ready to give Higson a chance,as for Nixon?A very good winger but would he be prepared to leave Barrow?

Doubtful. Harlequins offered him a deal last year and he turned it down. He is a local with a young family and a good career as an architect(?) working locally.
From watching you a few times this season i don't think theres much doubt that its your backline that needs a bit more pace and flair. |
