| Quote: The Leyther "There's only two ways we can respond to this, lets hope it's the positive way and we can try and tick that box by getting to the grand final.
We was outclassed, out enthused all over the pitch tonight which is disappointing considering it's the biggest game of the season, but full credit to Batley they went at us for 80 minutes. Our attack has been very poor these last few games, we seem predictable and can't get the ball to our outside backs quick enough to make up for their lack of pace.'"
I totally agree with everthing you say. I'm pretty sure that Milllward will be looking to turn the lads around from this, and that's the best we can do. The top six is looking close and I think Batley, with 7 home games left if sky are correct, look sure to feature this year. Barrow and Halifax are poised just behind us. Catching Fev is probably the unattainable.
We need to put tonight behind us, work out what went wrong, and try to put ourselves in the best place possible for the play offs. Confidence is a big thing in this game and the most important thing is to try to make sure that this isn't the start of some kind of freefall.
Batley were great tonight and no-one should try to be dismissive of the fact that we were up against a team that performed really well. Equally, we are disenchanted because of recent performances that have looked a lot like last season. I don't know what the answer is but a bit of actually 'running onto the ball' would be a start. We looked woefully flat in attack.

Thought you were launching in to a Bjorge Lillelien style rant there.

| Is the mighty messiah falling?
We were out-coached today, alongside being out played and beaten with more enthusiasm and pace by a better team - on the night.
Why did we risk playing players who were clearly not fit? Did we think we needed them to stand a chance?
No excuses, congraulations to Batley, you got my applause at the end and deservedly so. There are at least 7/800 "fans" who dare not mention the Wigoon Walk again tonight.I am not saying I blame them afer the predictable dross we served up tonight but just dont call the pie fans again. I can though as I was here till the bitter end
Teams have us sussed now - Mr. Millward I am afraid we need some new tactics as ours are no longer a surprise.

| People need to stop laying all the blame on Basil, one guy on GMR said for him to be sacked/walk!
Yes he took a few risks tonight playing Robbie, Bibey etc but had that worked we'd be singing his praises but instead people are questioning whether he's the right man. This still isn't his team, due to the mess we got ourselves in last year we had to leave it late to sign players and had to effectively take the left overs.
We started well under new tactics but a few teams have started to snuff us out, I'm sure Basil more than anyone will be looking to mix things up to get back on track and if anyone will get the best out of this team I'm pretty confident it's him.

| I cannot belive what I am reading on here. Everyone new our weaknesses at the start of the season but we suprised people by playing as a team and playing some good rugby. It is clear we need some pace but to call for IM's head or to throw in the towel, behave. There ie something wrong at the club at the momment and I hope to god it's not IM leaving. The season is not over yet by a long way.
Come on you Leeeeeeeeeigh.

| Keighley next.....and if we lose our next seven four of them away against vg teams then we won't have surpassed our points total of last season.

| I don't know why people were / are worried about Millward leaving to go to a SL job, after that performance they'll by looking at Karl Harrison.
