| Good solid performance tonight considering the games played and travelling done over the last week.
Batley were a well organised and fired up team who certainly thought they could get something from the game. I was glad we kept them out for that spell in the second half which I think broke their spirit eventually.
That was a really tough game to win by 20 + points after the Toulouse excursion and I am proud of the effort of the players, coaching staff , club and the fans.
Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and see what the season brings.  |

i'll live with 5 straight wins at the start of the league campaign.
Our defeat at leigh in the nrc won't affect daryl's plans for sheff on sunday or any other game in the league.
This season is shaping up nicely and you'd have got decent odds on fev and leigh being the form teams after a quarter of the league season, tho barrow are now finding some form and widnes have only dropped 2 points!
A close season, and if fev win sunday will return back to the top.
Means jack tho. The only table that means owt is the one after 20 games!

Not sure how DJ crept into this topic? I don't know what your problem with him is either, especially considering some of the people your club employs.
I also find your suggestion that you will bring the most fans to CP amusing, but then again there will be more on the bandwagon this year than the 50 you brought last year I suppose. |
