| The cost - the quality - waiting times - running out of food, beer, brews, pop etc. not a good experience for anyone - I know at HP Cheshire catering gave a decent quality at reasonable prices with minimum waiting time, exactly what everybody wants !!

To me all that's 'food' related when you previously said visiting fans were leaving LSV with a bad taste not just from food, I thought there was other issues.

| Sorry Glow for any confusion, am sure any away fans enjoy the experience and quality that a new ground the likes of LSV offer, unfortunatley the catering within the stands at LSV, at the moment leave a lot to be desired, Iam not havin a go at LSV, the point trying to make the catering company running this need to look at the issues and resolve them accordingly, gone on for far too long.

| No need to apologise, just interested to hear other fans opinions of their LSV experience, the problem with food is LSV like almost everyone else these days will sell the outlets to the highest bidder, and its then up to them how they sell their products.
Next time you visit try Leigh East you’ll get yourself some food and a beer at a more reasonable price, or even the hotel both are on site.

Here's an idea all serve the people and the queue will go down quicker

What I struggle to understand is WHY there is a queue in the first place with THOSE prices

I asked the same and was told he was a 'supervisor' though what he was Supervising I'm not sure.
The LSV Supervisor (steward) in fairness went out of his way to resolve the problem especially as people were wanting to use the West Stand kiosk instead because there was no hot food or lager. Top marks to him. I still think there are far too many of them but also know there are rules for the numbers required for the Safety Certificate etc, but this bloke was professional and polite.

| well i stated from day 1 i would not purchase any food or drink on game days, and have stuck to that decision, like people have said if nobody bought owt tjhey'd soon do something about it, but to just keep buying it and then moaning about helps nobody, except the caterers who think, stupids buggers these leythers, we're serving up crap at inflated prices and these lot are satill paying for it.

Similar prices at Huddersfield and Doncaster, and they've just got the contract at Halifax for the new stand.

| Over the last week or so I've had email corresondance with Chris Smith of LSV and I'd like to publically praise the efforts of him and LSV in dealing with it head on and professionally. I'd sent it to Allan Rowley first, as it happens their Darren had rung Allan when it was happening to tell him it was another shambles, who then raised it at their weekly meeting with LSV. Straight away Chris got in touch.
He said they were going to open up the other bar, stock them both properly, emply more staff, guide folk into individual till queues rather than having one long one, and put the game on the TV's so anyone queuing didnt miss any action.
The TV didnt quite work (it was Basils interview on a loop but I'm sure thats simply a technical thing) but everything they said they would do they did. There was a small problem with the 2nd bar - only one lass could serve beer for some reason which held things up a bit but on the whole the result was quicker service and less folk grumbling. Well not me anyway. Pretty much straight in and out 3 times.
Hats off the LSV for listening and doing something about it. The club have also had better dealings with them. LSV have taken enough stick off us, me included, so deserve praise when they react positively.
I'm now on a crusade to improve numeracy skills in our schools. After handing over a £10 note for items totalling £4.80, the young lass serving had to ask her mate how much change I was due.
