i just feel sorry for the 2 players who ave to make way for the 2 dual contract players no one deserves to lose their place from last sun team and for me this is why this d/c thing is rubbish

It may well be in the dual contracts that they HAVE to play, I'm only guessing as I know most SL clubs had it in the agreement or loan deals.

I think its a great situation IM is in,fighting for places can only improve the team

they do ave to play thats wot im sayin y shud a leigh player whos playing just as well ave to miss out just so the d/c players play the only club who benefit are the s/l club and wot message does it send out to the leigh players u can work your b**ls off but u will still get dropped

isn't there a way round this with dual contracts? Do they have to be in the starting 13 or will them coming off the bench do? If the new contracts don't breech agreements by being on the bench & playing I don't see too much problem with that.

Morrison needs a rest after the knocks on Sunday, Donlan didnt look fit and feel Stanton in open space returning the ball may be something we are missing

I put this question re DC players playing in favour of contracted ones, to Ricky Bibey, Robbie Paul and Tim Hartley, all said it didnt faze them one bit and that having the competition for places was OK by them and if they had to be dropped for any of those players so be it, Ricky answered that it didnt matter who replaced you you would still be t'eed off but that it should make you fight harder for your place. All three agreed it was good to have the new faces at training it was an added buzz.
Political answer or not? I dont know but I asked it to whom I could tonight.

I like that team and the best thing about it is, we have several players who could play in the pack or backs if injuries occur, i.e. Duffy and all the Wire players.

I do feel sorry for Morty,AJ, Ridyard and Meekin but they will have heir chances during the season.

Dewsbury is a tough ground to go and win and adding the strength and fitness of SL trained players must help our cause, run their packs legs off like Sunday and we will win.

why would you feel sorry for players, these 4 players were part of a squad that got relegated. a number of other players were shipped out cos they wernt good enough.these 4 boys have been given another chance lets hope they take it if not then they get shipped out as well. theres no room for dead wood if this club wants to challenge the top 3
