I dont think the problem is particurly with pubs under cutting each other (excluding one large pub not wetherspoons) the problem i believe is the stupid cheap offers avaliable in supermarkets off-licences people realising if they drink at home cheap they can then smoke and drink together. Getting drunk at home in front of children causing violence in the home but the government and police aren't too sharp on picking up on this, they think that the reduced violence in pubs is a good thing.
What happens when more and more pubs shut........... kids now, future drinkers have nowhere to go, no social network excluding the net, very sad life in the future
I'm not moaning being a current landlord because at the moment 4 me business is very good and looking more than good 4 the future i had a busier saturday (the apparent quietist weekend of the year) than mad friday and mad friday wasn't quiet either.
Other pubs aren't to blame 4 this neither the managers, tenants or owners the big companies selling these ridiculous cheap offers in supermarkets are along with the government!!!!!!
