I will still be going but I would be outraged if I was a Wigan fan and had already paid for tickets after the coach said it would be a mixed team and then decides to send a young team out.
Maybe if he had decided to send just a couple of first teamers it wouldnt of been as bad but the decision he made is a bit of a shocker.
As long as our lads get a run out and a good game then thats the main thing but the attendance will be badly affected

The Wigan u21 side is a very good one and it should be able to keep the score respectable but i'd expect Leigh to win it by 16-20 points with the added experience.
It could be a good opportunity for Millward to take a look at a couple of players with the hope of getting them on loan. I'm sure there must be at least 2 or 3 players in our side the club would like to get some first team games somewhere.

I posted on Wednesday what I thought the team would be and I was wrong with one of the starting 13.
It's not a bad team that Wigan are sending, they have only beaten 5 times in the last two years and have won their last two Grand Finals.
I'm looking forward to see these kids testing themselves against Leigh.

In that Wigan team are at least 8 future SL players a couple of future Internationals and the rest will be top end Ch players (mostly for us I hope) I only wish we could send a team like that to represent Leigh.

Sorry - I didnt see the video, I just saw the news item on the 18 that said
"Paul Deacon had a bruised wrist but he should be fine for Warrington. Karl Pryce should also be OK for that game. I will take a few players out of this game and they will figure next week at Leigh and there will probably be a few more of the younger guys. At Warrington I will play a lot more of the senior ones."
I assumed that he meant a few of the more established players would be playing us, not taking the young ones out of last Sundays team list to play with the other youngsters 
I dont mind who we play but as far as I can remember back to last years friendly you sent the full first team and I can understand him playing the majority of first teamers agaist Warrington, but I had hoped that one or 2 might of figured. |

Well to be honest I've been off work sick for the last 2 1/2 weeks and wasn't really feeling up to going anyway. Seeing the team made my mind up. Of course I hope we stuff 'em. I'll hopefully feel up to the Oldham game the week after. |
