Tell me if I'm wrong but aren't broadcasters supposed to be impartial? I can't belive some of the comments on here about Trevour. Stop crying in your pints and feeling sorry for yourselves and dont blame a crap season on a radio commentator. Maybe Trev knows what a shambles of a club we are and stuggles to keep his tongue on the way it has been run. Have anyone ever thought that. You should be venting your anger at the RFL, the refs that have been more biased against us (and yes Ronnie would have given more Whitehaven today had they not been so crap that it would have been totaly noticable) and the peopl running the club. From top to bloody bottom.

My slant on that episode is slightly different. Putting aside whether the commentators/presenters are biased or not, I thought their attitude sums up RL today.

They may be right when they say the clubs voted for the inclusion of Toulouse, or their protection from relegation. (although I doubt they were all in favour!) What really got me, is when 'Jules' came on, expressing her opinion, (and that of many Championship fans, I'll wager) they were telling her she was wrong. The woman was expressing an opinion (and I say she is right!) and they are bang out of order to say she is wrong. Those commentators, and the RFL also, are just so out of touch with what the supporters feel, it beggars belief!

I spoke to Trevor after the match, and believe me, he was far from gloating.

I was listening to that on my way home from work, and I thought the way that the commentators dismissed her (Jules) opinion was shocking, and they really need to question why they have a phone in at all, if they are not interested in peoples opinions

Of co she was wrong. This is how this league is. Those are the rules. No rules that were implemnted by the RFL were broken. Well not blatantly. What did supprise me later on in the show was PR admitting that the clubs didn't really get a shout in the rules being implemented. Thats what is really getting to me after the host saying that all the clubs signed up for it. Just shows no one knows the bloody truth.

Surely she was expressing an opinion - the opinion of a paying RL supporter. She is entitled to that opinion, without being dismissed by some arrogant chap who must be right, because he is an expert.

Yes she was but she was wrong and it sounded like sour grapes. We have gone down under a set of rules. Not because of the rules but because we were crap most of the season. To say we should not be going down knowing that those were the rules is silly. How many on here would have loved to see Widnes or Halifax in our situation?

Maybe she was saying the rules are silly? The clubs may (or may not!) have agreed to them, but the supporters don't then have to say they agree with them, too

I agree that we have been relegated because we have been the second worst English team in our league and obviously we feel bad because we have gone down, yet if Batley (or Widnes, or 'Fax) had suffered this fate, I personally would still have been incensed about it - as indeed are supporters of those clubs.

I think you have been wound up a few times on here as well....didn't you dump this board once ?
