Totally agree with "Mr Clitheroe".........however irrespective of whatever day the powers that be decide on , we and every other club in the league have got to get back to a format that least looks a bit like home one week then away the next instead of the utter farce we've had this season of what for the biggest part as been a home game every 4/5 weeks !

you must take into account all distractions ie sat games on t v and bad weather etc but generally may-september sat evening is fine by me

74 responses and none for 24 hours. I'd like to hit 200 before presenting any results.

I'm sure that the users on this board must be able to get to that figure relatively easily. Maurice, Starbug, Parky's etc.. have any forwarded it? No chance that we could use Leigh RL's own distribution list? After all, this is free market research they're getting.

I know this was done with the best of intentions but I’d take any Internet survey with a pinch of salt.

Didn't about 10 of us manage to get Leigh 50 million votes and therefore recognised as the best place in the Universe? (or something like that)

Precisely. The main thrust of the survey is to get it to people who aren't regulars and to find out if there are any ways they could be encouraged back. At the same time the survey aims to make sure that the current regulars' views are taken into account equally. We need both. So surveying only those people who are already (or should I say still) going to matches is of limited value.

Now, I'm doing this for nowt, using our company's polldaddy account which cost 200 quid. I'm not going to commit the time to sift through 250 paper responses nor am I going to go round interviewing people.

It is my firm belief that if this was forwarded to hundreds of people the results would be of use to Leigh RL. I don't believe too many people will try to bend the results. I mean, why bother?

Also, glow, voting 12 times in a spoof vote is rather different from this. Any Leigh fan has no real interest in trying to

I put no change as I would still attend all home games whenever but it would have been better to ask which time do you prefer!
