Stu Donlan was excellent tonight, a rock at the back, Nanyn posed a threat everytime the ball came to him. Stanton was brave, Morty's kicking, David Armitstead had an excellent game tonight, Morrison was solid as ever, Hilly is a machine and Hemingway and Watson working in tandum on the kicking game.

What a top, top performance. Absolutely delighted. And so what if Mitchell made a gesture to the fans? Job done as far as I'm concerned in that respect - in line with Jenky's post earlier in the week to wind the Frogs up and intimidate them, we obviously got under their skin on that evidence.

Can't fault any of the players really. I gave Jock a huge amount of stick post-Donny, but he really stuck his hand up tonight, and fook me how good was that tackle from Donlan to dislodge the ball in the first half when the French mon had all but stuck the ball down

Quite probably, but I'm sure it wasn't unprovoked. Didn't see it myself anyroad, though it was mentioned by someone stood near me.

It was after Mitchell was giving the verbals to Nanyn et al............ All of the North Stand adjacent to the West St got onto this in a light hearted manner.......... Suddenly numpty nuts goes into one and ......... the rest is history....

Great all round performance from all the team tonight. Watto,Hill,Morrison, Donlan and Smith were all outstanding. Jock made me eat my words tonight, but the player that turned the screw for me with a faultless kicking game that destroyed the Frenchies was Tom Hemingway. He turned them time and time again and we should've converted that possession into more points. If this guy builds up his confidence he could be a great asset. All in all a credible performance all round. BTW, we need to keep Alstead IMO, very solid game in the centres against very good opposition.

Agree PL I thought Hemmingway had a good kicking game ...... not a bad kick from Army as well .... The future`s bright...........
