| Just as well I saw this tonight. It's my birthday on Saturday and I was aware that I had been bought a gift voucher for the shop - Have had to request my pressie early so I can spend it in the morning!
I do think it's a bit naughty selling gift vouchers just 4 days before the store closes though!

Not sure, but they might have been redeemable online.
Feel really sorry for the girls in the shop, they've worked their bloody socks off with the place and I loved having a mooch in there, was a really professional set-up but, alas, it would appear to be too good for Leigh
Hope they get set up in a town centre location ASAP.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

| It would be better in town with more passing trade. Would also give the club a more prominent position in the town centre.

| A real shame. As already said it was always worth going in on matchdays or picking up tickets.
Maybe if possible a mobile shop could be available on match days - just as an idea.

| Always thought somewhere in the town would have been better financially. Hopefully they can sort a deal out in Spinning Gate.
Not short of empty shops unfortunately.

Wondered the same myself.
For those wanting a town centre location, let's not forget that the majority of trade will be done on a matchday for those who live out of town etc.
That said, the ex-card shop opposite Lloyds TSB would be an ideal spot and a reasonable size, with a trailer on matchdays on site somewhere.

| not surprising.
What next - for me try to make a small shop/ticket office at the ground. Then for me it could be converted to a bar for the clubs use, but i suppose their is already a bar their, but it isn't used - farce

| No shock.
Current climate won't have helped (along with the club underperforming = less speccys =less cash/interest, vicious circle).
Town centre would be better placed for people mooching around town (if theres any shops left to mooch around ) or Leigh Market.
A trailer vehicle at the ground on matchdays would surely be a winner (and if they get charged too much rent for that a strategically placed trailer near the ground would suffice ).
How long before the LSV is just used by Blackburn reserves and Wigan for there "B" grade SL fixtures
