| That was a ridiculous decision, when the knock on was given against Watson at a crucial stage in the match You won the penalty count tonight but all the 50 - 50s and sometimes obvious things went against you. I cannot believe the number of times you were pulled up for forward passes. You play to different rules to every other team in modern rugby. Every other team is allowed to pass as many as they want forward. A perfect example of this was Fev tonight. Fact is they threw at least 8 forward passes tonight . Weird how none of these were 'spotted', including the one in their first try. In a tight game, I am afraid decisions such as these cost you the match, just as much as errors from your players. In fact, I do not think any player on either side made as many errors as the officials tonight. The players will have to accept constructive criticism. Let's hope the officials face the same.

| As I said, it was just one of many amongst the 50-50s and obvious decisions that went against Leigh tonight. As usual and as I expected, the majority of Leigh fans will choose to support the officials. As I said the other night, I think you have probably become immune to being on the wrong end of a lot of bad decisions. In addition, I will also repeat how tolerant you are of refs. It genuinely needs to be applauded.

| I would like to see them keep hold of the bloody ball and concentrate on playing it. Not playing for a penalty. Its getting like that round ball crap playing for penalties and is cheating. Watch the down under game. The ball player is only trying to get up.

What a load of tosh. 9 times out of 10 it's the TJ that gives forward passes, not the ref. The ref had a good game. He could have blown up at almost every play the ball but used common sense in trying to keep the game moving. Yes he made mistakes, but nowhere near as many as the players.
Here's a tip - take the whistle up and go and try it yourself as you are obviously such an expert.

| Of course you are entitled to your opinion. However, I did not actually mention the ref in particular. I said the match officials. I think that touch judges are there to spot forward passes , but unfortunately they only spotted the ones from Leigh. Never mind. I am sure they will move on well from it and concentrate on where they went wrong as a team, as they rightly should do. Good luck next up at Halifax Leigh Let's hope you can show an improvement there.

| I totally agree with you etole1. I didn't think officials gave forward passes these days and Leigh do tend to play to different rules to other teams. The first converted try from Featherstone was well forward and if it hadn't been given, the match would have been a draw I suppose. Players on both sides missed tackles and knocked on and so on last night and they are now being criticised on here. I'm not saying that's wrong, but like you say the officials were also at fault quite a few times last night. It's also not wrong to say when they have made a mistake. Players and refs are all human and will all make mistakesAs long as criticism of any of em is reasoned, then that's fair enough.
