| Totally agree that we fell apart when Watson left the field, which further underlines what a big asset he is to the team.
However there's a few points i'd like to make in regard to todays game.
1/ Why did the referee allow play to continue, when Watson was flat out with blood pouring from a gaping head wound.
2/ Why did N.K use up all his changes so soon? From what i'm lead to believe Watson was stitched and bandaged and wanted to come back on!
In conclusion - If anyone would have offered me 4 points from the 2 Easter fixtures before a ball was kicked, then i'd of gladly taken it!

Well said.
We need to share the responsibilities around our 'play makers' as Watson dictates everything and this was shown when he went off. We need a stand off ASAP as Marsh was dire today.

I said Webster was rubbish because on Friday, he was! I've seen Webster in previous season's and he was outstanding. i wouldn't like Leigh to be currently paying Websters contract and, prior to Friday I would have agreed Webster was the better player!

| Agreed that we were lost when Watson went off but we went down hill when Marshy gave the interception. What baffled me was. Why did Durbin not go to acting half back. Jock had a great game taking on the line today but he would have been better feeding off Durbin. Also some of Jocks passes were terrible. Having said that I thought Jock was in contention for MOM as well as Morty. There are lots of plus points to come from todays loss.
Up The Leythers.

It looked like Rourke who gave it from where I was stood.
Agreed about Jock, he had a hand in two of tries and look dangerous when he took the ball from dummy half. Durbin doesn't seem to attack the defensive line as much as he did pre-season, not sure why this is but he certainly is effective when he does it.

I said that but was told by everyone around me that it was Marsh. Didnt want to argue and look silly.
Sorry Marshy.

| Got to agree about marshy i don't know why we had him, back he does not bring anything to the game, looks very slow and unfit,if he missed a tackle he wouldnt have the speed to catch anyone, got to agree about watson thought he controlled everything in first half, the way we played when he went off speaks volumes.
Also think stanton needs to be given more ball or given a chance at stand off.

Could be a good call. Lots of people calling for Donlan to go FB and i agree but wouldn't like to drop Morty because he's played very well and earned a spot in the team. Could go Donlan fullback. Mort and Alstead wings and Higson/Rudd/Reay as the centres with Stanton getting a go at Stand Off. Gotta be better than Marsh was today???

Would stick Morty on the wings at the very least. In attack, he's been our biggest threat in recent games and took his try superbly today.
We completely fell apart when Watson went off - take a look how many times we 'ran' the ball on the last tackle because they didn't have an organiser to construct the sets of six and weigh up when to kick. Also thought Marsh's kicking game was utter bobbins today, though Armistead appears to have a decent short-range kicking game.

..... and I'll be standing in the Hilton Park stand, yes that's right I've named the North Stand myself: |
|
| Would rather have Ridyard in than Marsh. Lee looks alot heavier than he did last season and pretty clueless in defence and attack.
Ridyard can only get better with time and games, surely he's the way to go if we can't sign anyone with experience.

sorry but cant agree we are awful on the 6th tackle with or without watson and have been all season wouldnt like to guess how many times we have meakly handed over a ball on sixth tackle this season and did it twice today with the "organiser" on the pitch.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

I thought it was Rourky too. Think Stanton or Reay was trying to console him on the edge of the huddle behind the try line. Only two words for me to sum up the last 30 minutes...lumbering and clueless and why the hell was Durbin constantly miles away from the action. Top 6 may be beyond this team, rugby brains seem to be scarce and half the team does not look fit.

| Marsh is playing out of position, kelly has clearly stated he wants him in the back row - will have to learn how to defend though
