Leigh 24.7 as i said im not having a go i never have used the coach service as i travel by car just pointing out it was very expensive for what it was if thats what they charge then thats what they charge but to me its very expensive for what it is.

and it was more aimed at how the coach company could justify only £1.50 cheaper to Widnes than Wakefield when there is nearly 100 miles extra to and from wakefield????

I know who you are and as i said in my post it was aimed at the coach company not you i know you are only charging what they are charging you. The last thing i would say was you or lisa were ripping anyone off because i know thats simply not the case

I wasnt having a go at you hun and i know you are doing a sterling job sorting the coaches out for everyone not many would do it i surpose the prices reflect the times and cost of fuel etc

The coach company will probably only budget on about 30 minutes less to go to Widnes than Wakey, on both trips part of the cost will be the driver just sat there for a couple of hours why the game is in progress.

Usually companies who know they will have to work Bank holidays, like say ASDA, don’t pay their employees more money or charge you extra for your tin of beans, on those days. So I don’t think that will be too much of an issue, but you never know.

Just to compare, it costs me £146 to send a wagon from here to Halewood, and £258 to go to Sheffield, nearest places to both destinations that we go to.

Assuming it’s a 54 seater and the vehicle I send had seats , that would be £2.70 to Halewood and £4.77, so just a couple of quid difference.

Makes all the differance though £3 to Widnes and £5 to wakefield is a lot better value for money and probably along the lines i would expect the charge to be

Yeah but I'm not transporting people, I would think the coach companies insurance, driver costs, vehicle cleaners, administration, maintenance etc are higher than a flat bed wagon.

Cost to us if all the coach is full is over £5 a head, we have to charge slighty over so as to cover the cost if we dontt fill the coach, like on some accasions we havent . Lisa cant foot the bill. So we make about 50p per person,. extra and it all goes into LISA..... which all ends up being spent on players.

Over the season with non member paying slighty more we will end up making a few hundred pounds
