because i dont believe peoples private lives should be public if someone else wants to put it on thats down to them.

Cookson has not broken his ankle as first suspected... only ligament damage. Still a set back though...

It's horrible. I did mine and now I am approaching 50 it keeps collapsing.
I could have sworn it was broken when I did it. Thing is when you go over on it and it breaks, the bone usually comes through. Trev Hunts was a shocker when his went.

Did the same at 16, went again at 18; first time was 10 weeks in plaster done by some butcher in Leigh Infirmary who I'm sure made it worse because it was a 'self inflicted' rugby injury

Gives me grief even now on cold winter days with a pair of riggers on.

Our lad broke his leg and dislocated his ankle, causing ligament damage , earlier this season and was back playing 12 weeks later, so its not all doom and gloom, hope Cookys injury isnt too serious.

Problem with Cookson is he is not naturally fit and seems to struggle in this department,a quick recovery is dependent on getting back to the required fitness level and several weeks of inactivity will hurt some more than others.

Tough luck on the lad and typical of the luck Leigh have re injuries, I hope he recoves and is back fighting for his position sooner than later.
