Same here Matt Meeks offers so much more than Cooky at the moment, Meeks has had a great pre-season Cooky less so.

Disagree, on his day (which admittedly isn't at the moment) Cooky offers a lot, lets not forget he plays in a position in which is historically one that favours the late developer especially at our level and Cooky is still a 'baby' in terms of 'prop' years. Meeks will also go through a 'sticky phase' its part of the learning curve, but will agree that at the mo Meeks is the better bet, he is also a couple of years younger than Cooky.

But lets look on this positively we have in Morrison Hill Meekin Cookson four of the best young props in the championship, that and young Jacko who for me will be this years 'find' and once the grounds firm up it could be that Kelly may move JT and Armistead up as emergency props in a 'spelling stage' (no not ABC ) allowing him to bring on strong runners like Adam Thomas (and the way he played on Sun, Stewart)

Probably a good job too. Error rate would have gone up, penalty count gone up, dummy spitting gone up, and probably would have lost all of our pre season games!!!

Because he hasn't the fitness to stay on longer than ten minutes. He's our Feka, minus the impact.

To me bar Morrisson who got injured I would be dissapointed if the team wasn't the same plus one other prop. So the same starting 13 - move Hobson from bench to Start and put Cooky on the bench with Meekin.

I'm all for Taylor covering prop, keep Cooky away for now, try him v Swinton to see if he has improved.

Last week I advised Leigh and, Ridyard (standoff) in particular not to take that pathetic 'Dummy' that Istyn Harris gives. I cant believe teams fall for it reapeadly, reading the League Weekly today and the Donny v Fev match report not only has Harris scored off it again, so have other Fev players!
I wont be there Wednesday however, I hope we are not beat with the Harris dummies, its ludicrous to me that opposion coaches have not targeted him.
I thought Leigh played some of the best football I've seen in years from a Leigh team on Sunday, irrespective of the opponents we could'nt play like that against anyone previously, the 'zip' from Hooker Durbin was a key factor in a superb all round performance.
